Role overview
Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Pontypridd, Wales. This is a hands-on, full-time onsite role for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers. The position carries an hourly pay rate of £13.71.
What the role is about
You will be delivering customers’ shopping and serving as the friendly face of the business. The job combines safe driving, careful handling of goods, time management, and helpful in-store support when needed.
Key duties
- Load the van safely and follow correct manual handling practices, including any heavy lifting involved.
- Drive responsibly and follow road-safety rules at all times.
- Carry out routine checks on the delivery van before and during use.
- Make sure customer orders reach them in the best possible condition.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service on every drop.
- Support store operations whenever extra help is required.
- Work on your own initiative and organise your time efficiently.
- Be available for varied shift patterns between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
