Role Overview

As a High Yield Research Analyst, you will contribute directly to investment decisions by carrying out detailed research and analysis that supports fixed-income strategies. The position is centered on assessing corporate credit opportunities and maintaining ongoing coverage of portfolio holdings and new issuance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate selected corporate issuers and securities across European sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and other basic industries.
  • Support the ongoing review of both current holdings in client portfolios and newly issued securities.
  • Analyze cash bonds in depth and track movements and developments in the credit default swaps market.
  • Stay informed on macroeconomic shifts, fixed-income market developments, and wider investment-industry trends.

What Will Help You Succeed

  • Solid background in credit research, with relevant exposure to healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
  • Ability to assess corporate credit strength, as well as the covenants and indentures attached to fixed-income instruments.
  • Understanding of what drives credit risk premiums and how to compare relative value across bonds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting technical information.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative while working well in a team setting.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics is preferred; CFA qualification is an advantage.
