About the Role

Betamind Education is seeking a seasoned High School Principal for a well-established CBSE-affiliated school located in Siliguri, West Bengal. This full-time, on-site leadership position demands overseeing both academic and operational aspects of the high school division.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the curriculum and uphold teaching standards to promote student success in line with school policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise, mentor, and support teaching and non-teaching staff, including classroom observations.
• Manage scheduling, assessments, and maintain a secure and inclusive environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with senior school leadership on strategic educational planning and community engagement initiatives.
• Address disciplinary issues efficiently and champion student well-being and comprehensive development programs.
• Analyze school performance data, spearhead school improvement projects, and coordinate with Betamind Education consultants to integrate best practices in school management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Substantial experience in Educational Administration and Management with the capacity to manage school operations and personnel effectively.
• Proven expertise in Educational Leadership, including team leadership, academic standard setting, and nurturing an inclusive culture.
• In-depth knowledge of Curriculum Development, assessment strategy, and instructional enhancements to encourage quality pedagogy.
• Postgraduate degree in Education or a related discipline; formal school leadership or administrative training is an asset.
• Strong communication abilities, skilled in conflict resolution and engaging collaboratively with educators, families, and stakeholders.
• Background as a senior leader in K–12 education (e.g., Vice Principal or Head of Department), with experience in CBSE, ICSE, or international curriculum frameworks preferred.
• Exceptional organizational acumen and decision-making capabilities with a successful history of driving school reforms and managing change.
