About the Role

This position sits within a multilingual production environment where language work is assigned according to business demand and the translator’s subject-matter strengths. The role is focused on Hebrew-to-English linguistic work, with skills validated during the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in line with the company’s quality benchmarks so client expectations are consistently met.
  • Complete the required onboarding and linguist training, including subject-matter certification, technology tools, production workflows, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Use internal systems and reference resources comfortably, including tools such as knowledge bases, workflow platforms, and other technology used by the team.
  • Carry out language tasks according to project-specific instructions, reference material, and approved language assets such as translation memories, glossaries, and style guides.
  • Adhere to both internal workflow rules and client-specific procedures on every assignment.
  • Operate under the guidance of a Team Lead or more senior colleague.
  • Meet the quality and productivity targets set by management.
  • Handle any other work that is reasonably aligned with the role and assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • Native-level command of English.
  • Strong written and spoken Hebrew communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Hebrew and English cultural context.
  • Willingness to adapt quickly when priorities change in a fast-moving production setting.
  • Ability to align with production demands and team urgency when needed.
  • Flexibility to switch between different task types and apply the right skills and tools for each assignment, including accuracy, creativity, and terminology precision where relevant.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, self-motivation, and results orientation.
  • Professional manner and the ability to stay focused under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Solid problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, or a translation certificate.
  • Successful completion of the internal linguistic assessment required under the TLC program.
  • Prior experience in translation, proofreading, copywriting, or related language work involving life sciences content is advantageous.
