Main Duties
- Assist clients with everyday personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mealtimes
- Support mobility and help clients maintain independence
- Offer companionship and emotional encouragement
- Observe client wellbeing and escalate any issues or concerns
- Help maintain a safe, pleasant, and comfortable home setting
Candidate Requirements
- A full Irish driving licence and access to a car are required
- QQI Level 5, or an equivalent qualification, is needed
- You should bring a caring, dependable, and positive mindset
- Previous care experience is helpful but not compulsory
For People New to Care
If your background is in retail, hospitality, customer service, or you are returning to work after college or a career change, your people skills may transfer well to this role. Training will be provided to help you begin a career in healthcare.
