Role Overview
- This is a full-time position based in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland.
- The standard workweek averages 40 hours, consisting of day shifts only.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and encourage decision-making, independence, and personal growth in service users.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, health maintenance, and physical appearance.
- Deliver person-centered care tailored to individual care plans and objectives.
- Comply with relevant policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and professional codes of practice.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation for all dispensed medications.
- Record and report any incidents or complaints involving staff, service users, or visitors promptly.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to meet the goals established for service users.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or an equivalent credential.
- Possession of a full Irish driving licence.
- Previous experience in social care or healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with HIQA standards and regulations governing care.
- Strong verbal communication and written documentation skills.
- Completion of Garda Vetting or other relevant police clearance checks.
