Role overview
Westcare Homecare Ltd is hiring a Healthcare Assistant for work in Leitrim, County Leitrim, Ireland. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a chance to build a meaningful career in care while being supported with training, flexible scheduling, and fair pay. Work locations
This role covers client care in Manorhamilton, Dromahair, Drumkeeran, Ballinamore, Carrigallen, Leitrim Village, Mohill, Boyle, and Carrick on Shannon.
Compensation and benefits
Pay can reach up to €21.50 per hour, with paid mileage included. Key duties
The Healthcare Assistant will support clients with day-to-day personal care and help maintain their independence and comfort at home.
What success in the role looks like
You will assist with washing, dressing, and mealtimes, support movement and mobility, offer companionship and emotional encouragement, keep an eye on client wellbeing, flag any concerns, and help maintain a safe and comfortable home setting.
Candidate profile
Applicants should have a full Irish driving licence and access to a car, along with a QQI Level 5 qualification or an equivalent care-related qualification. A positive, dependable, and caring approach is essential. Previous experience in care is helpful but not mandatory.
