Position Overview
Serving as a pivotal marketing partner, the Healthcare Account Manager acts as the primary contact and strategic advisor for healthcare clients. Operating as an integral extension of client teams, the role focuses on designing and implementing marketing strategies, fostering engagement with physicians and healthcare stakeholders, and driving referral growth and business development to deliver tangible outcomes.
Key Duties
- Lead client relationships, serving as the primary contact and developing yearly marketing plans, budgets, and growth initiatives aligned with objectives.
- Present strategic marketing proposals, performance results, and analytics to client leadership and identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and client engagement.
- Build and sustain strong connections with physicians, administrators, referral coordinators, and practice managers through regular visits and communication.
- Act as a trusted liaison managing provider concerns and facilitating communication between client leadership and healthcare practices.
- Coordinate educational and outreach events to strengthen physician relations and referral networks.
- Analyze referral trends, market data, and campaign metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal creative, digital, content, and project teams to ensure seamless campaign execution within timelines and budgets.
- Lead, mentor, and support healthcare outreach team members, including onboarding and performance evaluation activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
- 7 to 10+ years experience in healthcare marketing, account management, physician outreach, or related client-facing roles.
- Proven success cultivating relationships with physicians, healthcare executives, administrators, and practice leadership.
- Strong capabilities in strategic marketing, business development, and client relationship management.
- Experience with CRM systems, interpreting referral and marketing analytics, and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Previous leadership roles are advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and outreach events.
