Job description
Role Overview
This leadership position is based in Ahmedabad and focuses on building a large-scale talent sourcing network across India. The role combines institutional relationship management, recruitment program delivery, event execution, process improvement, and team leadership to support organizational hiring objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute a pan-India strategy for attracting talent through educational and skill-building institutions.
- Develop and sustain partnerships with Training & Placement Officers, universities, ITIs, polytechnics, and placement agencies.
- Work with government and private skill development initiatives to expand talent access.
- Serve as the main point of contact between external institutions and internal training functions.
- Keep institutional partnerships aligned with broader hiring and workforce plans.
- Manage several talent acquisition initiatives at the same time and track results against goals.
- Use data and reporting to evaluate program effectiveness and identify improvements.
- Use digital tools to source, track, and engage candidates more efficiently.
- Apply automation and analytics to strengthen scalability and operational performance.
- Plan, coordinate, and run national-level job fairs involving employers and institutions across multiple regions.
- Design and oversee hackathon events, including logistics, sponsorship coordination, participant engagement, and judging arrangements.
- Lead, coach, and support a team handling institutional outreach and candidate engagement.
- Promote ownership, performance, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, supply chain management, or a related discipline. An MBA is preferred.
Applicants are expected to bring at least 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, supply chain management, or institutional partnerships, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
