The clinic operates four sites with a growing team currently consisting of 23 professionals and ambitious plans for expansion. Role Summary

The Head of Operations will report directly to the Clinic Directors and oversee the daily management and operational excellence of the four busy clinics. This leadership role focuses on driving substantial commercial growth while achieving regulatory compliance and ensuring the highest quality of patient care and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinic through CQC registration and expanding services in line with ambitious revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations across all clinic locations ensuring smooth workflows and optimal patient experiences.
  • Optimize clinic scheduling, staff rosters, and room utilization (targeting 80-90%) to maximize resource efficiency and patient flow.
  • Maintain exceptional patient care and resolve complex patient issues professionally and empathetically.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with clinical policies and quality assurance standards.
  • Supervise procurement and maintenance of clinical supplies and facilities ensuring safety and health standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and oversee billing and collections to sustain positive cash flow.
  • Lead Clinic Managers and administrative teams with clear leadership, setting performance goals aligned with organizational values.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development initiatives to meet service demands and build a capable team.
  • Plan and execute business growth strategies, including new service rollouts like GP, podiatry, aesthetics, and wellness memberships.
  • Maintain ongoing regulatory compliance and lead the organization through successful CQC inspection and registration.
  • Monitor and report KPIs on operational, financial, patient, and staff performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience managing operations of multiple healthcare or physiotherapy clinics.
  • Track record of driving consistent year-on-year revenue growth with demonstrable results and data.
  • Experience with CQC registration processes or similar healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Strong financial literacy capable of overseeing budgets, reporting, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with ability to mentor and motivate teams.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities to engage staff, patients, and stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulations, and clinical best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in physiotherapy or healthcare management.
  • Experience with clinical software implementation and management.
  • Proven success in launching new services within a growing healthcare group.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-related bonuses. Employees also benefit from a company pension scheme, discounts, on-site parking, and profit sharing.

Additional Information

  • Position is full-time and based onsite at North London clinics.
  • Applicants should provide evidence of management experience of at least three years.
  • The role includes responsibility for meeting aggressive growth targets with ambition to reach £1.5 million turnover in two years and £2.5 million in five years.
  • This is a leadership-focused and growth-oriented role with significant autonomy and strategic responsibility.
