  • Design and implement financial planning, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario analyses to underpin business growth strategies.
  • Conduct commercial analyses relating to revenue performance, trading volumes, client activity, spreads, rebates, partnerships, marketing expenditures, and operational costs.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relations, payment processes, and treasury activities across multiple business entities.
  • Maintain robust financial controls, including accounting policies, approval workflows, reconciliations, and segregation of duties.
  • Lead external audit engagements and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, regulators, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure financial processes adhere to regulatory, tax, and governance standards.
  • Support initiatives including new entity formations, licensing procedures, international expansion, and financial due diligence efforts.
  • Build and manage a high-performing finance team with clear roles, consistent reporting standards, and ongoing development.
  • Promote automation and enhance processes in financial reporting, reconciliations, dashboards, and management information systems.
  • Act as a trusted finance advisor to senior leadership, delivering clear financial insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to facilitate informed decisions.

Candidate Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields complemented by a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles within FX, CFDs, brokerage, trading, banking, fintech, payments, or regulated financial organizations.
  • In-depth understanding of the financial operations of FX and CFDs brokerages, including knowledge of client funds, trading revenues, liquidity structures, rebates, commissions, and complex multi-entity financial reporting.
  • Proven track record managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, audits, taxation, and financial control frameworks.
  • Experience navigating multi-jurisdictional legal entities, diverse currencies, and varying regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong familiarity with IFRS standards and statutory financial reporting requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior executives and present complex financial data to boards or executive committees.
  • Commercial acumen to convert financial data into actionable business insights and strategic guidance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in building and nurturing finance teams.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functionalities and financial modeling, with additional experience in ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and finance automation platforms considered advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, international environment.
