Role overview

Cornish Bakery is seeking a Head Barista for its Keswick location. The business describes itself as a community-focused bakery with a purpose of nourishing people and aims to redefine what a bakery can be. Both full-time and part-time hours are available.

What you will do

• Coach and develop the team so coffee is prepared consistently and to a high standard.
• Craft excellent coffee drinks and aim to deliver the best coffee experience possible.
• Provide strong service to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support the preparation of award-winning food.
• Help keep standards high across the bakery.
• Contribute to a team culture focused on continuous improvement and high ambition.
• Look after the coffee machine and grinder, including maintenance and adjustment, so espresso quality remains ideal.
• Support the management team with the day-to-day running of the bakery.

Training and culture
