Job description

Position Overview

The HAER Coordinator will be responsible for the establishment and upkeep of the Hazardous Area Equipment Register along with related certification documents using vendor records and bulk purchase orders. They will work closely with various parties including completions/PIMS personnel, discipline leads, Package Responsible Engineers, and the job site EEHA team, reporting directly to the EEHA Coordinator.

Key Duties

  • Manage and verify Hazardous Area Dossiers and maintain the Competency Matrix.
  • Review and confirm supplier schedules for electrical equipment within hazardous areas alongside Equipment NRTL certifications.
  • Track and highlight the inspection status of vendor-supplied equipment, including integrated and separately shipped components.
  • Provide continuous assistance to the site EEHA team and enter bulk site installation data delivered by the Job Site EEHA administrator into the HAER system.
  • Possess a strong understanding of EEHA requirements covering design, procurement, installation, and certification processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Must have recognized EEHA certification such as CompEx for NEC (Modules Ex01–Ex04) or an equivalent qualification; at minimum, NEC 500 Foundation Certificate is required.
  • Completion of the Ex-14 (Responsible Person) training with valid certification is mandatory.
  • At least six years of experience in offshore oil and gas project management and engineering execution, specifically within electrical engineering.
  • Proven skills in electrical engineering design and execution for oil and gas projects.
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledgeable in project and engineering execution strategies, work methodologies, and systems.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and work proficiently in culturally diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong influence capability.
  • A heightened awareness of safety protocols relevant to design, construction, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning in oil and gas facilities.

Work Location and Hours

Position based at Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd., 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051 (Tuas Boulevard Yard). Islandwide transportation is provided.

Regular working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
