Role Overview

Join our community where your passion is acknowledged and fostered. As a Handy Person, you will be empowered to anticipate needs, customize guest experiences, and provide purposeful service to uphold our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute both preventative and corrective maintenance duties throughout guestrooms and across hotel facilities.
  • Oversee swimming pool functions including chemical balance checks and filter backwashing.
  • Perform electrical maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and programming Vingcard/Elsafe locking systems.
  • Complete routine room inspection tasks according to daily and scheduled checklists.
  • Assist in monitoring and dosing water treatment chemicals.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of plant rooms to maintain high operational standards.
  • Manage isolation and reactivation of smoke detectors as required.
  • Carry out painting work and minor repair finishing tasks.
  • Document and process work orders efficiently using the TRITON works management system.
  • Provide additional maintenance support and perform other duties as directed by the team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Practical, hands-on attitude with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently during afternoon and weekend shifts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
  • Effective communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable handling chemicals, using tools, and working with mechanical systems.
  • Trade qualifications are preferred, or equivalent relevant hands-on experience.
  • Passion for hospitality and dedication to providing outstanding guest experiences.
