Role Summary

The Guest Relations Agent is responsible for creating a memorable guest experience from the moment of arrival until departure. The role focuses on personalized service, VIP handling, guest coordination, and resolving concerns quickly and professionally.

Key Duties

  • Deliver high guest satisfaction through warm, prompt, and personalized service throughout the stay.
  • Ensure all members receive their entitlements and that repeat visitors and VIP guests are recognized and treated with extra care.
  • Welcome VIP guests in person.
  • Work closely with Concierge and Butler teams on hotel events, restaurant campaigns, limousine arrangements, and special VIP needs or preparations.
  • Prepare guest information materials before arrival and complete system check-in tasks when required.
  • Stay in regular contact with Airport Concierge regarding incoming and departing guests.
  • Keep the repeat guest record system accurate and updated.
  • Support promotion of inter-hotel sales and in-house services.
  • Arrange welcome cards and room amenities before guest arrival.
  • Respond to special guest requests.
  • Manage complaints appropriately and ensure follow-up on corrective actions where needed.
  • Check arrival lists for all guests and VIPs to verify room assignment, amenities, and special requests.
  • Raise amenity requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Carry out related tasks and special assignments as needed.

Skills and Personal Qualities

  • Strong written and spoken English communication.
  • Additional language ability in Russian, Turkish, or Arabic is preferred.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and managers.
  • Comfort working collaboratively in a multicultural team.
  • Ability to stay composed, courteous, and focused on guest needs under pressure.
  • Good relationship-building and guest engagement skills.
  • Sound judgment when handling challenging guest situations.

Qualifications and Experience

A degree or formal training from a School for Tourism and Hotel Management is required.

At least 2 years of guest relations experience is expected, ideally in a 4-star or 5-star hotel.
