Job Overview

We seek a meticulous and organized GSAS Specialist for our Doha office. The role involves overseeing global supply and acquisition operations, ensuring seamless procurement processes that align with organizational objectives. A candidate with strong analytical acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and dedication to compliance details will thrive in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement cycles from requisition to vendor selection and purchase order execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to guarantee prompt delivery of goods and services.
  • Keep detailed records of all supply transactions and communications.
  • Evaluate supply chain metrics and cost data to identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procurement standards, and contractual commitments.
  • Support vendor management including performance reviews and relationship building.
  • Generate supply chain performance reports and procurement activity presentations.
  • Assist in advancing process enhancements and best practices in global supply operations.
  • Act as liaison among stakeholders to resolve supply chain discrepancies and issues.
  • Contribute to initiatives aiming to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years experience in supply chain management, procurement, or related areas.
  • Proficient in ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle plus procurement software applications.
  • Advanced competence in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of global supply chain operations and procurement best practices.
  • Experience in vendor management and nurturing supplier partnerships.
  • Project management and process coordination capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within multicultural environments.
  • Familiarity with international trade laws and compliance is preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain optimization and cost control preferred.
