Position Overview
Join RAAFA WA as a permanent full-time Groundsperson based at our welcoming Bull Creek retirement village in Western Australia. This role offers stable daytime work Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with an additional monthly rostered day off. You'll be part of a supportive team maintaining outdoor spaces that enhance a vibrant community of residents who truly appreciate your efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns including mowing and edging
- Perform pruning, mulching, and general garden upkeep
- Manage weed and pest control tasks
- Assist with planting and landscaping projects
- Operate and upkeep gardening equipment
- Carry out basic repair and maintenance of irrigation and reticulation systems
- Keep grounds safe, tidy, and visually appealing

Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, park maintenance, gardening, or landscaping preferred
- Possession of a valid manual driver’s licence
- Familiarity operating mowers, hedge trimmers, and other horticultural equipment
- Knowledge of irrigation, reticulation systems and capability to perform minor repairs
- Chainsaw ticket is advantageous or willingness to obtain one
- Reliable, hardworking, with a positive mindset and commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
