About the Role

We seek a creative Graphic Designer passionate about transforming ideas into impactful visuals. This role will help develop and uplift the Dogs Trust brand by creating engaging multi-platform content aligned with strategic objectives. The position involves guiding fellow designers daily, ensuring deliverables are high-quality, aligned with brand standards, punctual, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and advance the Dogs Trust visual identity and campaign themes for digital and print media.
  • Design a variety of marketing materials for both internal use and external outreach, encompassing digital formats and printed pieces.
  • Oversee several design initiatives from initial brief through final execution, collaborating with internal colleagues and external vendors to achieve brand-consistent outcomes.
  • Promote top design practices, including accessibility standards and Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI), while keeping updated with design trends and tools and managing core brand resources.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant has a highly creative and versatile design skill set, demonstrated by a strong portfolio in digital and print. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with in-depth understanding of digital accessibility and print production. They possess strong strategic insight, meticulous attention to detail, and are adept at balancing multiple projects without compromising brand consistency. Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and a dedication to animal welfare, preferably with charity sector experience, are important.

This temporary role runs through to December 2026. Interviews are preliminarily planned for the week of August 10, 2026, to be conducted via Teams.
