Job description
About POP MART
POP MART is a worldwide leader in designer toys, creative collectibles, and entertainment-driven intellectual property. Since 2010, the company has grown a global community of art lovers and cultural trendsetters, now operating across more than 30 countries with over 4,000 team members.
The brand’s purpose is to expand the designer-toy universe by developing artists internationally, building standout IP, and creating memorable brand experiences.
If you’re excited by striking visuals, distinctive characters, and building imaginative brand worlds, this opportunity could be a strong next step.
Role Overview
POP MART is hiring a Graphic Designer focused on both motion and static creative work to support the brand across Australia and New Zealand. The position centers on producing high-impact assets for campaigns, product launches, and retail experiences while keeping the brand identity consistent across all channels.
You will partner closely with the marketing team to turn ideas into polished creative outputs that reflect POP MART’s energetic, youth-oriented style.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will design campaign and brand materials for digital, retail, and event settings, and create both moving and static content such as videos, animations, banners, social media assets, and marketing collateral. You will contribute to major product launches, campaigns, and retail activations, while also providing ideas during concept development and visual storytelling.
The role also includes supporting video editing, motion graphics, and image production using professional design tools, refining work based on feedback while preserving brand standards, handling several design projects at once, and delivering work to deadlines. When needed, you may also assist with content capture at events and activations. Collaboration with marketing and wider teams will be essential to bringing creative concepts to life.
About You
You should bring at least 5 years of experience in graphic design along with a refined and compelling portfolio. Your portfolio should demonstrate brand design, campaign work, or consumer-facing creative projects. Strong ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is required, along with motion and video tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro.
A solid grasp of visual storytelling, composition, typography, layout, and animation is important. You should be able to transform ideas into high-quality visuals, work confidently across both digital and physical brand environments such as retail and events, stay organised while managing multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-moving collaborative workplace.
Highly Relevant Background
Experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or youth-focused consumer brands will be looked on favorably.
Bonus Experience
Experience collaborating with global brand teams would be an added advantage, though it is not mandatory.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and include a link to an online portfolio featuring your strongest work, ideally 3 to 5 examples.
Eligibility
Applicants must be located in Australia and hold full working rights.
