Role Overview
BSRIA is seeking a Graphic Designer to produce compelling visual communications that support the organisation’s brand and marketing activity while engaging both internal teams and external audiences. Based in Bracknell, this role works closely with the Marketing team and other stakeholders to turn briefs into polished print and digital creative, always keeping accuracy, accessibility, brand standards and deadlines in mind.

Key Responsibilities
- Create eye-catching visuals for campaigns, events, social media, websites, reports, brochures, presentations, email content, advertisements and other marketing materials.
- Apply BSRIA’s brand rules consistently so all communications maintain a professional and recognisable identity.
- Interpret briefs with the Marketing team and internal stakeholders, clarifying goals, audience needs and deliverables before developing design solutions.
- Prepare artwork for both digital and print production, checking specifications, file formats, quality and version accuracy.
- Use design techniques such as layouts, infographics, icons and other visual treatments to simplify complex or technical information.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, respond constructively to feedback and refine designs to meet agreed expectations.
- Handle several design requests at once, organise priorities, keep stakeholders updated and complete work to deadline.
- Stay informed about design trends, accessibility practices, digital formats and relevant software updates to improve output over time.
- Keep design files, templates and image assets well organised for easy retrieval, updating and reuse.
- Carry out additional tasks that are appropriate to the position.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have a degree, HND, professional qualification or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Creative Media, Marketing, Digital Design or a related field. A strong portfolio is expected, showing creative thinking, effective layout, typography, brand application and work across both digital and print channels. Professional development in design software, digital content creation, accessibility or branding would be an advantage.
Experience and Technical Skills
Applicants should have 2–3 years of professional experience in a graphic design role, either in-house or within an agency. Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Good layout skills, typography ability and visual storytelling experience are also required. Video editing and animation experience would be helpful, though not essential.

This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite in Bracknell. The salary is competitive and depends on experience.
