Position Overview

NPi is seeking a skilled freelance Graphic Designer to join the team supporting Play Alberta, a prominent digital entertainment brand in Canada’s regulated gaming sector. This role offers a chance to contribute to the brand’s evolving identity by producing compelling visual materials for emails, websites, social media, the Play Alberta app, and paid advertising campaigns. The Graphic Designer will ensure visual consistency adhering to brand and regulatory requirements, collaborating closely with marketing, content, and creative teams to craft engaging marketing solutions. Additionally, the role includes occasional content management tasks, providing a comprehensive experience in digital marketing and creative production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visual assets for email campaigns, websites, social media channels, and other marketing efforts.
• Adapt creative materials from game providers into refined, brand-aligned visuals consistent with Play Alberta’s tone and regulatory standards.
• Download, organize, and prepare game provider assets for marketing use.
• Maintain and update the Airtable creative asset management system to keep workflows organized.
• Work collaboratively with marketing, creative, and content teams to generate innovative visual solutions.
• Participate actively in weekly team meetings, offering ideas and feedback to enhance creative projects.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver polished, high-quality designs that meet brand standards.
• Assist with content management activities such as asset organization and updates when required.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in graphic design and content management.
• Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Experience creating digital assets across varied platforms and formats.
• Familiarity with content management systems like dotCMS is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HTML5 and web design concepts is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Prior experience working remotely is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and capacity to juggle multiple projects effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-driven and proactive approach suitable for remote work environments.
