Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Graduate UX Research Assistant to become a part of our expanding product and design team. This fully remote, entry-level position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time engagement, based in Australia.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing user research including interviews, studies, and surveys.
- Manage recruitment and coordination of participants for research activities.
- Gather, organize, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative user data.
- Document research outcomes and create detailed reports and presentations.
- Support usability testing procedures and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
- Collaborate effectively with UX designers, product managers, and developers.
- Maintain comprehensive research documentation and contribute to research data repositories.
- Keep abreast of current UX research methods and industry standards.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical thinking and critical reasoning capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills paired with good organizational habits.
- Genuine interest in user behavior, psychology, and designing user-centric solutions.
- Basic knowledge of UX research techniques and usability testing frameworks.
- Experience or familiarity with tools such as Figma, Miro, Dovetail, Maze, or UserTesting is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace platforms.
- Ability to work autonomously within a remote setup.
- Motivated to learn and develop expertise in UX research.
Educational Requirements and Eligibility
- Preferably hold a bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, UX Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or similar disciplines.
- Recent graduates are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Experience through internships, academic projects, or personal UX case studies is an asset.
- Familiarity with usability testing, user interviews, survey methodologies, or data evaluation is beneficial.
