Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Government Relations Manager for a Dubai-based position with a strong background in UAE government procedures, labor compliance, visa administration, and corporate regulatory matters. The ideal candidate should also bring hands-on exposure to the UAE real estate sector, with a solid understanding of the licensing and compliance framework specific to the industry. Fluency in Arabic is essential, and the ability to communicate in Hindi and Urdu will be valuable in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of all government liaison tasks, approvals, and official transactions.
- Manage visa applications, labor permits, Emirates ID processing, and immigration-related formalities.
- Act as the main point of contact with ministries, municipalities, authorities, and regulatory organizations.
- Keep the company aligned with UAE labor legislation, immigration rules, and licensing obligations.
- Oversee trade license management, permit renewals, and compliance documentation.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with government offices and other external partners.
- Track regulatory updates and brief leadership on any required actions or risks.
- Work closely with HR on employee onboarding, visa renewals, and labor contract coordination.
- Represent the organization in official meetings with government entities whenever needed.
- Ensure all documentation and approvals are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Supervise PRO and government relations team members.
- Prepare periodic compliance and government affairs reports for management.
- Coordinate with real estate regulators and ensure adherence to sector-specific licensing and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Law, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in UAE government relations or PRO functions.
- Mandatory prior experience in the UAE real estate sector.
- Strong command of UAE labor law, immigration processes, and government compliance requirements.
- Exposure to real estate regulatory bodies and property licensing procedures will be considered an advantage.
- Arabic fluency, both spoken and written, is required.
- Strong capability in negotiation and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience working with MOHRE, RDC, Immigration, Municipality, the Economic Department, and similar UAE authorities.
- A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The monthly salary offered for this role is AED 8,000 to AED 10,000.
