Role Overview

The company is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) expert to helm and enhance the ERM framework. The role demands competent leadership in detecting, evaluating, monitoring, and mitigating strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and emerging risks. It also involves championing risk-informed decision-making, strengthening governance mechanisms, and cultivating an organizational culture centered on risk awareness.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continually refine the organization's ERM system.
  • Lead enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and evaluation efforts.
  • Develop and uphold relevant risk policies, methodologies, instruments, and governance models aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Recognize risk triggers and devise mitigation strategies to diminish adverse impacts.
  • Analyze various risk domains including strategic, operational, financial, compliance, environmental, and emergent risks.
  • Construct and execute risk evaluation models and monitoring tools.
  • Conduct periodic risk reviews across all business functions.
  • Monitor critical risks and mitigation progress against KPIs/KRIs and maintain an up-to-date risk registry.
  • Ensure the integrity and precision of risk data and systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk reports and dashboards for senior management and board-level deliberations.
  • Communicate risk exposure and mitigation updates to relevant stakeholders effectively.
  • Facilitate coordination between Risk Champions and Risk Coordinators across divisions.
  • Organize regular risk reviews and track resolution of agreed actions.
  • Collaborate with leaders to embed robust risk practices into daily operations.
  • Recommend practical control, risk transfer, or mitigation measures.
  • Conduct training and awareness programs to boost risk culture within the organization.
  • Support and guide teams on risk management methodologies to foster proactive risk handling at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA in Finance from a reputed institution or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Preferable additional certification in Risk Management.
  • 15 to 20 years of total professional experience.
  • At least 5 years dedicated to Enterprise Risk Management in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability implementing ERM frameworks and leading risk governance and reporting processes.

  • Preference given to candidates with deep understanding of ERM best practices, manufacturing industry experience, business acumen, and a proactive approach to risk management.
