About the Role

Garney is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to join our team in Rayville, LA. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction and demonstrate progressive leadership experience within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce rigorous job site safety standards, establishing clear safety expectations across projects.
• Develop and maintain 6-week detailed look-ahead schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Collaborate closely with project management teams to coordinate efforts and maintain schedule adherence.
• Analyze job costs and oversee labor quantity management to optimize expenditures.
• Prepare and submit daily and periodic reports documenting project progress and status updates.
• Supervise quality control processes to guarantee work meets established standards.
• Manage subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with company and project requirements.
• Provide training to craft workers to enhance skills and site efficiency.
• Mentor field engineering staff to support their professional growth and project contributions.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction industry with progressive responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for project demands.
