Role Overview
This position is focused on designing and driving Frankfinn’s franchise growth plan across India. The role calls for identifying new business opportunities, bringing in strong franchise partners, negotiating commercial terms, and expanding a stable franchise network while staying aligned with brand standards and business goals.
Franchise Expansion Strategy
- Create and execute the yearly plan for franchise expansion.
- Spot cities and markets with strong growth potential.
- Build feasibility assessments and business proposals for new locations.
- Suggest priority expansion areas using demographic, economic, and competitive insights.
- Support long-term growth of the franchise network.
Franchise Development
- Find, assess, and bring onboard prospective franchise partners.
- Develop a strong pipeline of franchise leads through multiple channels.
- Hold presentations and business discussions with potential investors.
- Evaluate the financial strength and operational fit of prospects.
- Handle the full franchise acquisition journey from lead creation to agreement signing.
Business Development
- Form strategic relationships with investors, educational groups, and business houses.
- Generate expansion leads through networking events, exhibitions, and industry gatherings.
- Identify opportunities in Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III cities.
- Where relevant, evaluate franchise opportunities in international markets.
Franchise Sales and Revenue
- Deliver annual franchise sales targets.
- Drive franchise fee income and expansion goals.
- Improve conversion from enquiries to signed agreements.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and forecasting process.
Commercial Negotiation and Agreements
- Lead commercial discussions with prospective franchisees.
- Work with Legal and Finance teams on franchise documentation.
- Ensure franchise agreements are executed on time.
- Follow company policies and applicable regulatory rules carefully.
Market Intelligence
- Track competitor actions and franchise market developments.
- Research the market to uncover new opportunities.
- Recommend additional territories for expansion.
- Stay updated on education-sector trends and investment activity.
Cross-Functional Coordination
You will coordinate with Operations, Training, Academics, Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth onboarding and launch of new franchise centres.
Franchise Partner Management
- Build enduring relationships with franchise partners.
- Serve as the main escalation contact during onboarding.
- Support a smooth move from agreement signing to centre launch.
- Help franchisees work toward their business objectives.
Project Management
- Track timelines for new franchise launches.
- Coordinate readiness of infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to Frankfinn’s brand requirements.
- Monitor milestones and flag schedule or execution deviations.
Reporting and MIS
- Prepare weekly and monthly expansion updates.
- Track key business performance indicators.
- Present expansion progress to senior leadership.
- Maintain CRM records and franchise pipeline reports.
Performance Measures
- Number of franchise centres signed.
- Number of franchise centres opened and operational.
- Franchise revenue generated.
- Market coverage across target cities.
- Franchise conversion ratio.
- Average time from enquiry to agreement.
- Centre launch timelines.
- Franchise partner satisfaction.
