Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate General Manager who will take full ownership of the growth and success of the center. This role is pivotal in converting prospective families into long-term members, cultivating strong community connections, leading an energetic team, and ensuring smooth operations. You will be the enthusiastic face of KidStrong in the local community, fostering an environment where children thrive and families feel valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete membership sales funnel from initial inquiry to long-term family engagement.
• Directly engage with prospects through calls, texts, and follow-ups to convert leads into paying members.
• Set challenging yet realistic sales objectives for the team and celebrate accomplishments.
• Represent KidStrong at community events and organize activities to attract new families.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that generates referrals and fosters loyalty.
• Build strong, genuine relationships with parents, coaches, and families ensuring ongoing member satisfaction.
• Communicate proactively and address issues promptly to maintain high member happiness.
• Promote a culture of belonging where every family feels acknowledged and supported.
• Monitor key center metrics including membership, retention rates, revenue, and other performance indicators.
• Maintain center operations in a clean, energetic, and efficient manner.
• Recruit, train, and develop high-performing coaches to effectively implement KidStrong’s curriculum.
• Work a flexible schedule consisting of four weekdays and one weekend day to ensure the center’s success.

Candidate Profile

• Strong people skills and a natural ability to build connections with children (from crawling age up to 11 years) and their parents.
• Experienced in sales conversations and closing memberships.
• Comfortable using technology including Google Workspace, CRM software, and social media platforms.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Leadership qualities including setting high standards, clear communication, mentoring, and goal achievement under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $68,000.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Carol Stream, IL. The franchise location is independently owned and operated; therefore, all employment decisions and inquiries should be directed to the franchise management rather than the corporate office.
