Overview
This opportunity is with an independently owned McDonald's franchise in Jacksonville, FL. The franchisee operates the restaurant and is solely responsible for all employment-related decisions, separate from McDonald's USA. If hired, your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
Role Summary
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a profitable restaurant operation that adheres to McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. You will collaborate with leadership to define restaurant goals and devise strategies to accomplish them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers responsible for different areas of the restaurant.
- Assist Department Managers in goal setting, monitor their progress, and deliver coaching to enhance departmental performance.
- Recruit, hire, and nurture Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the restaurant's future.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a General Manager, ideally in high-volume quick service restaurants.
- Background in quick service dining, hospitality, or retail sectors is preferred.
- Minimum age of 18 years, as mandated for managerial positions in corporate-owned or operated establishments.
