Job Summary

Cascades is seeking a General Labourer to join our facility in St. Marys, Ontario. This role involves supporting machine operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The General Labourer will play a key part in our production process, contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Feed materials into machinery and assist with accurate machine setups according to established techniques.
• Verify stock specifications and conditions against orders.
• Monitor the quality of manufactured products and report any issues to the Operator.
• Perform administrative tasks and complete reports accurately and on time.
• Support machine operators with their daily tasks.
• Submit maintenance requests to the shift lead for necessary equipment repairs.
• Actively participate in proactive equipment maintenance.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, conduct, Health & Safety standards, and government regulations.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the shift lead.

Additional Information

The work schedule operates on a continental shift rotation: two weeks of 7 am to 7 pm, followed by two weeks of 7 pm to 7 am.
