Responsibilities

• Wash and clean crops as part of farm handling duties
• Cut agricultural seed to match farm specifications
• Sort vegetables and fruits by size, shape, colour, and volume to help achieve the best market value
• Package fruits and vegetables for transport or sale
• Separate produce into the appropriate categories
• Load, unload, and move crates, supplies, produce, livestock, and poultry
• Use farm machinery and equipment and carry out basic maintenance
• Inspect produce to confirm quality and market readiness
• Prepare and complete work reports
