About Cleveland-Cliffs and the Role
Cleveland-Cliffs, a leading North American steel producer, is seeking a General Labourer for their Cannon Automotive Solutions division at the Windsor, Ontario stamping facility. Primary Responsibilities
- Perform production line tasks including reworking, packing, and sorting parts.
- Support press operators with setup and operational procedures.
- Assist the maintenance, tooling, quality control, and logistics teams as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections ensuring products meet required specifications.
- Use welding and grinding hand tools as part of daily tasks.
- Maintain and enhance cleanliness and organization within the work area.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Capability to meet production quotas by performing repetitive tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Willingness to work a rotating three-shift schedule, including midnights, days, afternoons, and overtime as required.
- Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
Compensation and Additional Information
The hourly wage for this role ranges between $19.82 and $26.51. Candidates should be prepared for a pre-employment background check.
