About Health Partners
Health Partners has supported South Australia for 85 years, with a long-standing goal of improving access to healthcare and support that helps local communities live healthier lives. As a not-for-profit organisation serving more than 95,000 people, it focuses on doing what is right for members, employees, and the wider community. Its services are built around the needs of its members, including health cover that supports care for teeth, eyes, and overall wellbeing.
About the Role
The organisation is seeking skilled and motivated dentists to provide a complete range of dental services across modern clinic locations in Adelaide. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity for a practitioner who enjoys delivering patient-centred care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality general dentistry and preventive care to members.
- Assess oral health concerns and provide treatment aimed at achieving the best possible patient outcomes.
- Guide patients on oral hygiene, treatment choices, and preventive dental practices.
- Work closely with dental colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth, coordinated care.
- Keep clinical documentation accurate, complete, and up to date.
About You
The ideal applicant is an experienced, people-focused dentist with 2 years of experience and a strong interest in working in a values-driven setting. You should be committed to collaborative care, continuous improvement, and high standards of communication and professionalism.
Requirements
- Relevant dental qualifications and current registration with AHPRA.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Commitment to patient-centred care.
- Experience preparing and delivering comprehensive treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to contribute positively to a hands-on clinical team focused on ongoing improvement.
What’s on Offer
- A steady stream of patients, allowing you to concentrate on delivering quality care rather than meeting quotas.
- Support for ongoing professional development and CPD opportunities.
- Coverage of ADA, DHAA, or ADOHTA membership fees.
- Support for AHPRA registration, indemnity insurance, and radiation licence fees.
- Paid parental leave.
- A generous contribution toward private health insurance premiums.
- Discounted sunglasses.
- Access to internal and external learning resources.
- Volunteer days with partner charities.
- Employee Assistance Program access for you and your family.
Eligibility and Additional Conditions
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents at the time of application. A current Working With Children Check, a National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months, and willingness to complete blood immunity testing are also required. Applications are reviewed as they are received, so early submission is encouraged.
About the Work Environment
You will be part of a local team made up of diverse professionals who work together in a collaborative, community-minded setting.
