General Counsel

Job Overview

This role is for a General Counsel engaged on a contract basis, working remotely. The position involves creating and refining contract negotiation frameworks and managing various commercial agreements aligned with company needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and enhance contract negotiation playbooks tailored to diverse business situations and company requirements.
• Draft, examine, and annotate commercial contracts ensuring they are clear, precise, and compliant with applicable standards.
• Provide specialized advice on effective practices for contract management and negotiating strategies.
• Compile and provide non-confidential transaction-related documents to support project documentation goals.
• Assess and improve existing contract templates to boost efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Work closely with micro1’s team to ensure all materials align with project standards and AI training criteria.
• Offer thorough written and verbal feedback to improve system comprehension and outputs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or past experience serving as General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel, especially with a focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
• Proven skills in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts in corporate environments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with keen attention to clarity and detail.
• Understanding of industry norms for contract analysis and risk evaluation.
• Experience creating or using contract negotiation playbooks tailored for businesses.
• Acquainted with document-dependent project work, including sourcing and submitting eligible materials.
• Capacity to operate autonomously and provide precise, actionable insights beneficial for AI training development.
