Role Overview

As the Cluster Director for GCC & Levant, you will be the strategic leader driving account management, coordinating commercial operations, and liaising with public affairs to ensure impactful engagement across key health sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage strategic accounts with direct involvement in executive-level relationships, including Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).
  • Serve as the primary commercial integrator and execution anchor for Strategic Health Division (SHD) accounts, collaborating closely with the Public Affairs team on government and institutional relations.
  • Support daily strategic account processes alongside the Country Leader and oversee various offerings to SHD accounts.
  • Lead or coordinate engagements with national societies, patient associations, and relevant sub-national groups within the healthcare landscape.
  • Take ownership of specific functions such as bids and tenders, and local congress and events execution.
  • Govern the Country Leadership Team (CLT) through active leadership and coordination.
  • Promote organizational culture locally, enhance team cohesion, and lead Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Manage in-country operational aspects including office administration and contract signings, while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
  • At least 10 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles such as business unit or general management at the country level.

Essential Skills and Expertise

  • Proven ability to develop and implement complex country-level strategies.
  • Familiarity with health economics, patient-reported outcomes, retrospective data analysis, epidemiology, or health services research is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in creating pharmaceutical or health-economic models for publication or customer interaction preferred.
  • Background in a regulated industry is beneficial.
  • Strong project management skills demonstrated through successful leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and associated tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities, with sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship management that drive objective achievement.
  • Fluency in English and local languages in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Recognition as an expert in functional areas within a wider organizational context.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and professionalism when interacting at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-evolving work environment.
  • Commitment to adhere to company policies such as pandemic guidelines and environmental, health, and safety regulations, actively engaging in injury prevention and environmental protection efforts.
