About the Company
Wynn Al Marjan Island is an upcoming luxury beachside resort in the United Arab Emirates, planned to open in 2027. Positioned less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the destination is being developed on a scenic island extending into the Arabian Gulf and will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.
About the Role
The resort is looking for a Supervisor to support its Table Games Operations team. This position plays a key part in overseeing live table game activity, maintaining service standards, and helping ensure smooth, secure, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee gaming specialists during live table games and make sure procedures are followed correctly.
- Guide and support team members on the job to protect game integrity and deliver a consistent guest experience.
- Spot performance or skill gaps and bring training needs to the attention of the Area Manager.
- Manage assigned tables so games operate efficiently and securely.
- Track team performance, game tempo, and guest engagement throughout service.
- Ensure all activities comply with gaming rules, internal procedures, and government regulations.
- Handle guest questions and minor disagreements in a calm, professional manner and escalate when appropriate.
- Confirm correct management of chips, cards, and other table game equipment and assets.
- Keep an eye on table limits and make sure operational standards are respected.
- Escalate suspicious behavior, equipment problems, or any deviation from procedure to the Area Manager.
- Maintain professional interactions with colleagues, leaders, and guests at all times.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant should bring practical table games knowledge, strong observation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-moving hospitality environment. The role also requires flexibility for rotating schedules in a 24-hour operation.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required; additional study in hospitality or gaming is preferred.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in table games or gaming operations is needed.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring gaming specialists is beneficial.
- Good knowledge of table games procedures and compliance requirements is essential.
- Strong communication and people skills are required.
- A dependable, polished, and guest-first approach is important.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to react quickly are necessary.
- A collaborative mindset and adaptability in a changing environment are expected.
- Basic capability with MS Office and gaming systems is needed.
- Must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and shift-based hours in a 24/7 setting.
