Role Overview & Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage FX and FX conversion trading activities across both internal and external liquidity platforms to ensure seamless operations.
- Guarantee precise and prompt trade execution, routing, and post-trade processing involving multiple liquidity providers.
- Oversee and coordinate client FX conversion flows alongside internal treasury hedging functions.
- Detect, analyze, and promptly resolve discrepancies in trading, including failed executions and settlement complications.
- Continuously monitor real-time trading behavior, escalating unusual trade patterns, pricing irregularities, or system faults as necessary.
- Manage liquidity infrastructure, including connectivity through aggregation platforms like oneZero Hub and PrimeXM XCore.
- Maintain and supervise FIX protocol sessions regarding stability, message flow, rejection handling, and latency management.
- Ensure optimal pricing, competitive spreads, and effective execution performance across diverse liquidity sources.
- Configure and maintain symbol mapping, routing logic, execution rules, and liquidity provider connections within aggregation systems.
- Liaise with liquidity providers, vendors, and internal technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve pricing, execution, and connectivity challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash across internal systems and external counterparties.
- Investigate and address reconciliation discrepancies, preserving a complete audit trail and ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee accurate and punctual settlement of FX and FX conversion trades across all platforms.
- Maintain stringent controls over the entire trade lifecycle, from execution through settlement.
- Implement and enforce operational risk management measures to sustain trading stability and infrastructure robustness.
- Proactively identify and escalate issues such as trading incidents, system outages, FIX connectivity problems, or liquidity disruptions.
- Monitor essential risk metrics including execution slippage, rejection rates, latency, and trade failures.
- Support policy creation and implementation including standard operating procedures and control frameworks consistent with FX trading compliance and operational standards.
- Contribute to FX product launches, upgrades to trading systems, and infrastructure enhancement projects.
- Lead or assist with the integration of additional liquidity providers, aggregation platforms, and trading venues.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to drive FX trading initiatives and long-term strategic developments.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven expertise in FX trading operations, execution processes, or liquidity management.
- Hands-on experience managing FIX protocol sessions, including message flows and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Experience working with liquidity aggregation platforms such as oneZero Hub or PrimeXM XCore.
- Deep knowledge of FX market structure, liquidity dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and execution workflows.
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes including reconciliation and settlement.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle demanding real-time trading environments.
