Role Overview
Join Barclays as part of the FX Options Trading team, where you will engage in market-making activities in foreign exchange options. You will interact with a diverse set of investors including money managers, banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and corporations. Success in this role requires excellent communication abilities and a solid grasp of foreign exchange mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute market-making tasks in FX Options.
- Strategically manage risks associated with client orders and flow.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships through active engagement.
- Carry out buy and sell orders or price liquidity in various financial instruments complying with bank strategies and risk limits.
- Continuously monitor and analyze global financial markets, economic signals, news, and geopolitical situations to identify trading opportunities and evaluate risks.
- Oversee risk management related to the trading portfolio ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Collaborate with research analysts and other teams to gather necessary information supporting trading decisions.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in trading, preferably focused on FX markets.
