About the Role
Join Infosys as a Fullstack Engineer specializing in Generative AI to create robust, scalable applications spanning frontend and backend domains. This position demands hands-on experience with AI integration, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies, based in Bengaluru, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive features using React or Angular frontends combined with Java/Node.js microservices, integrating REST APIs and Kafka event streams.
- Develop, validate, and refine AI prompt engineering for code generation ensuring security, accuracy, and conformity with engineering standards.
- Customize and extend AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude Code through agents, hooks, and plugins to enhance coding efficiency without compromising quality.
- Build complex multi-agent AI workflows utilizing Agent SDKs that manage task orchestration and collaboration between agents.
- Adopt and promote test-driven development methodologies, including unit, integration, and contract testing using Jasmine, Jest, or Karma.
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions and manage cloud deployments through Docker and Kubernetes (specifically AKS/EKS).
- Ensure observability through structured logging (ELK or Datadog), alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics), and conduct performance profiling.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and architecture to translate business objectives into technical solutions that are scalable and compliant.
- Manage multiple project streams and evolving requirements following agile methodologies to deliver continuous incremental value.
Core Technical Skills
- Frontend: React or Angular using micro-frontend architectures like single-spa or Module Federation; proficient in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
- Backend: Java (Spring Boot/Cloud) as primary backend framework, Node.js for lightweight APIs, RESTful services, and microservices patterns
- Messaging & Streaming: Kafka, IBM MQ
- Scripting: Python for automation tasks
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS and Azure hybrid cloud environments, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), API Gateways like Apigee/Kong/Azure API Management
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL for transactional data; MongoDB and Cassandra for NoSQL storage; analytics platforms including Snowflake, Hadoop, and Databricks

Applicants must be located in Bangalore or be willing to relocate there as the role is onsite.
