Key duties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the main contacts at each customer account while representing PepsiCo professionally
- Deliver products on time and unload them according to customer instructions
- Handle invoices and complete daily account settlement tasks
- Restock and rotate products across different environments and keep merchandising aligned with standards at each location
- Create product displays and place promotional materials such as price signs and banners
- Complete all required documentation accurately
- Carry out all assigned work safely, responsibly, and in line with applicable laws and transportation rules
Working conditions and physical requirements
The role requires the ability to lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs repeatedly during an 8 to 10 hour workday. It also involves moving heavy loads manually and with the help of equipment, which calls for good agility, flexibility, and strength.
Work is performed in a range of weather and temperature conditions, and the driver must be able to operate equipment safely when road or driving conditions are poor.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with customers
- High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma, or an equivalent qualification
- Valid Class 1 CDL driver’s license with air brake endorsement, in good standing, along with a clean and safe driving record
- Good physical fitness for the demands of the job
- Ability to stay self-motivated and work with limited supervision
Preferred assets
- Comfort with extended work hours and overtime
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
