About the Role
Join COBS Bread, a Great Place to Work® Certified™ company, where we foster growth, connection, and fun within our team and community. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in producing fresh bread daily and leading a dedicated bakery team to achieve operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small team to deliver exceptional bakery products and outstanding customer experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the bakery area.
- Create and nurture a positive, respectful, and high-performing team environment.
- Participate in community events and contribute to the 'End of Day Giving' program by donating unsold bread.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong communication abilities, with effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Physical stamina for continuous standing and walking during tasks.
- Manual dexterity with frequent constant use of both hands.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to 7.5 kg regularly, plus bending and reaching at various levels.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of heavy items up to 22 kg, and performing pushing, pulling, crouching, and overhead reaching.
