Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our AI Technology team responsible for architecting and refining the firm's internal Generative AI platform. This is a pivotal, hands-on engineering position requiring dual expertise as a full stack developer and AI strategist to advance our agentic AI capabilities used across the company. You will operate in a fast-evolving environment with engaged business partners and dynamic product requirements, applying your software engineering expertise alongside a sharp eye for UX and a strong product-driven mindset to build cutting-edge user interface platforms and ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

You will significantly contribute to both the frontend UI and backend services of our agentic AI platform and its related tools. Collaborating across teams, you will participate in architectural enhancements, develop reusable components, and foster consistent implementation patterns. Working alongside product managers and business stakeholders, you will influence feature specification and deliver impactful UI solutions embedded in our AI applications. Your full stack development duties will encompass frontend web development, backend integrations, API crafting, optimizing system performance, and implementing observability features. Additionally, you will uphold code quality standards and best practices, identify development lifecycle gaps, and drive continuous platform improvements as well as developer tooling advancements.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in frontend or full stack software engineering.
• Proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and contemporary web development frameworks and tools.
• Hands-on experience with production-grade Python backend systems.
• A strong sense of product design focused on user experience.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, WebSocket communications, and event-driven system designs.
• Familiarity with both relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL, and NoSQL databases including DynamoDB and Elastic Search.
• An analytical and methodical approach to breaking down complex problems.

Preferred Skills

• Background in developing agentic AI applications, including working with MCP servers and orchestrated workflows.
• Experience utilizing AWS cloud services like S3, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB, along with Kubernetes for deployment and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge of implementing and maintaining design systems and UI consistency.
• Understanding of React-based micro-frontend architecture and modular UI design patterns.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as DataDog.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is anticipated between 175000 and 225000 USD per year. In addition to base pay, the role is potentially eligible for performance bonuses and a competitive benefits package. Final remuneration will depend on multiple factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
