Role Overview

This contract opportunity is for a Frontend Developer focused on building user-facing web applications with Vue.js, while also working with React where needed. The assignment is remote and expects a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

Compensation

Pay is set at $30 to $70 per hour.

Responsibilities

Create and support fast, scalable frontend features using Vue.js and React.
Partner with UI/UX designers to turn wireframes and mockups into polished, responsive interfaces.
Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries that can be used across projects.
Improve application performance, scalability, and compatibility across browsers.
Review code, exchange development best practices, and guide teammates when needed.
Coordinate with backend engineers to connect APIs and deliver seamless product experiences.

Requirements

Strong practical knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
Demonstrated professional experience developing complex applications with Vue.js.
Hands-on production experience using React.
Good command of CSS and SCSS, along with responsive web design techniques.
Familiarity with contemporary frontend build tools and version control, such as Webpack and Git.
