Job description

About the company

Seven Senders is a Berlin-founded logistics platform that makes international parcel shipping easier for e-commerce businesses. Since 2015, the company has connected brands with cross-border delivery networks across Europe by combining technology with local carrier partnerships to balance speed and cost efficiency. The team now includes more than 200 logistics and technology professionals and serves well-known clients across the region.

Role overview

As a Freight Procurement Specialist, you will join a small team focused on growing the carrier network and strengthening freight forwarding partnerships. Your work will help secure competitive pricing and strong service performance for customized cross-border logistics solutions across Europe.

What you'll do

  • Own the strategic sourcing process for road freight transport services, including FTL, LTL, and groupage.
  • Prepare and evaluate pricing for European road freight movements.
  • Manage the current transport partner network, support improvements to transport solutions, and carry out performance reviews with partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Planning, Freight Operations, and Parcel Logistics teams.
  • Contribute to projects that streamline, improve, and automate internal processes.

What you need

To be successful in this role, you should already have at least one year of experience in European road freight purchasing or operations management. You’ll need to communicate clearly, work proactively, take ownership of your tasks, and show strong motivation to learn and develop in logistics. Good working knowledge of MS Office is expected, along with fluent English and German at B2 level or above.

Work setup and benefits

The position is based in the Berlin Metropolitan Area with a hybrid setup. The office is located at Alexanderplatz, and the company offers flexible remote-office arrangements and working hours. You may also work from almost anywhere for up to two months each year.

  • Company lunches twice per month
  • Access to a corporate benefits platform
  • German language courses
  • Climate-neutral, sustainability-focused mission
  • Collaborative, open, and data-driven work culture
  • Regular team events and company-wide celebrations

Additional information

The organization emphasizes diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications regardless of ethnicity, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability. Candidates are asked to submit an English CV.
