Role Description
This full-time, on-site position in Jeddah involves overseeing daily freight operations to guarantee the timely and secure transit of goods. The core duties include liaising with clients and regulatory bodies, generating necessary logistics paperwork, monitoring shipment progress, and managing customs clearance procedures. A key aspect of the role is to continuously refine processes for enhanced operational efficiency and risk reduction.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities for evaluating data and resolving logistical issues. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues. Proficiency in sales and client relationship management is beneficial. Experience in operations management is required for handling daily logistics tasks and ensuring smooth workflows. Project management skills will be utilized for planning and executing freight operations within specified timelines. The role demands proactive problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with customs regulations and prior experience in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous. Fluency in English is mandatory, with Arabic proficiency being a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
