About Mindrift and the Role

Mindrift is seeking an accomplished Presentation Designer to engage with the Tendem project, focusing on generating premium presentations tailored to practical industry scenarios. This part-time remote freelance role is designed for creative professionals experienced in visual communication, data visualization, and narrative design. The platform connects global industry experts with AI development projects to foster cutting-edge technology advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft compelling pitch decks and professional one-pagers customized for diverse target audiences.
• Convert complex datasets and narratives into clear, minimalist visual stories emphasizing hierarchy and clarity.
• Enhance presentations with bespoke typography, refined animations, and consistent design aesthetics.
• Maintain a polished and persuasive corporate-creative visual style throughout all deliverables.
• Ensure strict adherence to formatting standards, verifying visual alignment, pacing, and brand consistency before final submission.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably over two years of relevant experience in graphic design, visual storytelling, or presentation design.
• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or similar disciplines is advantageous.
• A portfolio showcasing sophisticated presentations, pitch decks, and data visualizations that demonstrate mastery of pacing and information design is mandatory.
• Self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to independently address complex design challenges.
• Strong command of English at upper-intermediate level (B2) or beyond.

Technical Expertise

• Advanced skills in presentation platforms such as PowerPoint and Keynote, enabling the creation of intricate and dynamic decks with flawless animations.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or Figma for bespoke graphic and layout development.
• Capacity to portray multi-level data hierarchies into visually accessible and minimalistic storytelling formats.
• Expertise in typography and animation, particularly with customized fonts and elegant animation techniques for premium results.

• Experience producing high-end, corporate yet creative presentation designs.
• Unwavering dedication to visual excellence and detail orientation.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and resolve design issues effectively.
• Submission of a portfolio link highlighting high-caliber presentation work is compulsory; applications lacking this will not be considered.

Project Details and Compensation

During active project phases, workload typically ranges around 10–20 hours weekly but may vary according to project demands. Compensation for this role can reach up to $50 per hour based on individual expertise and contribution pace. Note that remuneration varies by project scope and complexity across the platform.
