Job description
Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Presentation Designer to support a Tendem project within a hybrid AI and human workflow. The role focuses on transforming complex ideas, data, and narratives into refined, persuasive presentations and one-pagers that are visually strong and strategically structured.
This is a part-time remote freelance opportunity suited to creative professionals with practical experience in presentation design, visual communication, information design, and storytelling. You will work alongside AI agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you contribute judgment, creative direction, and precise formatting to produce polished deliverables.
About the platform
The Mindrift platform brings subject-matter specialists into AI-driven projects for major technology innovators. Its purpose is to combine real-world expertise with generative AI workflows to improve the quality and usefulness of project outputs.
What you will do
In this position, you will shape storytelling and visual hierarchy for high-impact presentation materials. The work involves turning raw content into elegant slide decks and one-pagers that communicate clearly, look premium, and remain consistent with the intended audience and brand style.
Tools and workflow
You should be comfortable working with presentation and design software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma. The role also requires careful formatting review, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a consistent corporate-meets-creative aesthetic.
How to get started
Applicants need to apply, complete the required qualification step(s), and then begin contributing to projects that match their expertise on a flexible schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Create polished pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored to different audiences and business goals.
- Convert dense information and data into clear, minimalist visual narratives with well-defined hierarchy.
- Improve presentation quality through custom typography, refined animations, and consistent visual treatment.
- Maintain a premium, persuasive style that blends corporate professionalism with creative presentation design.
- Review each deliverable carefully to ensure alignment, pacing, and brand consistency before handoff.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is preferred.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative discipline is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar presentation software for building complex and animated decks.
- Advanced ability in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or in Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
- Capability to simplify layered information and complex datasets into clear, structured visuals.
- Advanced command of typography and smooth animation techniques for high-end presentation work.
- English level of Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher is required.
- Experience creating premium, corporate-style yet creatively refined layouts is important.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering flawless visual output are needed.
- Ability to work independently and solve design problems without close supervision.
- A CV must include a portfolio link showing presentation work, pitch decks, and data visualization examples; applications without this will not be considered.
Workload and compensation
During active project phases, the estimated workload is about 10 to 20 hours per week. This is an estimate only and not a guaranteed number of hours.
The role can pay up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on the contributor’s level and pace. Compensation may vary by project according to scope, complexity, and expertise required.
Application note
Applicants should submit a resume in English and include their English proficiency level with the application.
