About Mindrift and the Role

Mindrift connects specialized professionals to innovative AI projects globally. This freelance position supports the Tendem project, focusing on producing top-tier presentations that effectively convey real-world applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in storytelling, visual communication, and data visualization, crafting polished presentations designed to inform and captivate.

Responsibilities

• Create impactful pitch decks and one-pagers customized for various audiences.
• Convey complicated data through elegant, minimalist visual stories emphasizing clear information hierarchy.
• Enhance presentations with bespoke typography, refined animations, and consistent visual style.
• Maintain a refined creative-corporate balance in all designs to ensure premium quality.
• Carefully review and polish presentations for visual alignment, pacing, and brand compliance before delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience relevant to graphic or presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.
• A bachelor's or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related fields is advantageous.
• A robust portfolio demonstrating sophisticated presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work with strong storytelling and pacing.

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced use of PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar to develop dynamic and precisely animated decks.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or Figma for crafting custom graphics and layouts.
• Ability to translate intricate data and hierarchical information into minimalistic, effective visual narratives.
• Expertise in typography and smooth animation techniques to deliver premium presentation materials.

Additional Requirements

• Experience producing premium corporate-creative style presentation layouts.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to flawless visual quality.
• Independent, proactive work approach with capabilities to resolve design challenges without supervision.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
• Submission must include a portfolio link showcasing relevant high-quality presentation and data visualization work.

Project Commitment and Compensation

Project workloads typically range between 10-20 hours per week during active periods, with compensation rates up to $50 per hour depending on the contributor’s experience and output speed. Note that rates may vary per project based on complexity and requirements.
