Role Overview
As an Experiential Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete production journey of assigned projects—from concept to execution. You will translate creative visions into tangible experiences by balancing innovation with operational accuracy, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget limitations, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple experiential activations simultaneously.
- Convert creative briefs and statements of work into detailed production plans and timelines.
- Manage fabrication, technical installations, permits, and on-site operations.
- Oversee on-site event activities including load-in and load-out, show calling, and client engagement.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors and production partners.
- Develop and nurture strong vendor relationships to facilitate ongoing collaboration.
- Coordinate staffing requirements, workflows, and ensure safety protocols are enforced.
- Collaborate with leadership and finance to build and manage project budgets.
- Track payments, invoices, and final financial reconciliation until project completion.
- Identify cost-effective solutions that align creative goals with financial constraints.
- Work closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to ensure production plans align with overall objectives.
- Contribute expertise during pitches and identify proactive production opportunities.
- Integrate seamlessly into projects at various stages as needed to drive success.
- Stay current on cultural, technological, and experiential marketing trends to inform approach.
- Continuously seek improvements in execution and client service delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 6 years experience in experiential or live event production.
- Proven ability to manage medium to large production budgets effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management and delivering complex production executions.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Suite, Slack, Box, and Asana.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside typical hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, including three days per week onsite.
Compensation
The freelance position offers a weekly pay range of $1,750 to $2,000. Should this temporary assignment convert to a full-time role, the salary range would be between $82,000 and $95,000 annually. Compensation varies depending on experience, sector, and location.
