Role overview

Said Differently is looking for a freelance designer to act as a strategic creative collaborator. The role spans a wide mix of media, with ownership of the design process from early concept development through final delivery. The ideal person is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

What you will do

This position centers on hands-on digital design support for marketing work. You will refine existing funnel-wide campaign assets and create fresh, custom digital placements for a variety of initiatives.

The assignment calls for a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week starting as soon as possible and continuing through mid-September, with a possible move to part-time through the end of the year.

Key responsibilities

  • Create digital design deliverables such as social creative, banner ads, and full-page digital takeover assets.
  • Keep all work aligned with client brand standards and the expected level of creative quality.
  • Work closely with internal teams across functions to move projects forward.
  • Handle several project pieces at once while staying organized and efficient.
  • Prepare final files that are ready for production without additional cleanup.

Experience and technical background

You should bring at least 5 years of professional background in brand or graphic design, preferably in an agency environment.

A strong portfolio is required, with examples showing experience across print, branding, and digital work.

The role also calls for strong organization, a sharp eye for detail and quality, and the ability to communicate clearly with different stakeholders and partners.

You must be able to explain and stand behind strategic design decisions with confidence.

Technical expertise should include advanced work in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, along with Figma.

Experience creating integrated campaign assets for multiple channels and delivering precise, production-ready files is important.
