About the Role
Enova is looking for a Fraud Operations Analyst who possesses a strong analytical mindset and a passion for safeguarding our products from fraudulent activities. Daily responsibilities involve conducting detailed investigations into suspicious loan applications and enhancing fraud detection methods by leveraging tools like SQL and Excel. This role requires collaboration with various departments to contribute to the improvement of underwriting and verification processes, adopting innovative approaches to outsmart fraudsters.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and carry out thorough investigations into suspicious applications and loans across one or multiple products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance procedures and provide expert guidance on fraud risk management.
- Maintain and update product-specific reports, identify and escalate potential fraud issues, and coordinate with relevant teams.
- Manage fraud mitigation efforts potentially across up to three different brands simultaneously.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in fraud detection or operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Self-driven with strong initiative to build relationships across departments.
- Curious with a deep interest in gaining business insights and operational knowledge.
- Ability and willingness to respond promptly to urgent projects and issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and accurately convey problems and recommendations.
- Capability to analyze extensive complex data and extract actionable insights independently.
- Willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including some weekend availability.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

- The expected hourly pay range is $21 to $26, determined by candidate qualifications and experience; additional bonus potential may be available.
